Remixed the case to make room for 84 bits in total (80 normal and 4 large ones). 😉

There is another slightly more compact remix for 50 bits here:

Holes are for 6 x 3 mm magnets (6 diameter, 3 high).

I have modified the box to work with magnets, because I didn’t trust the printed rod, knowing how my printer performs with those from previous prints. 😉

Just press onto the tip of a bit to tilt it slightly and remove it from the holder. 😉

I have sacrificed some bit holes to insert a holder for the wowstick – since I do not yet have the wowstick I don’t know if it’s as useful as intended. 😉

This is a container for the Lootcrate / Wootbox T800 Brain Chip keyring (June 2015 Loot Crate „Cyber“).

I have used an acrylic tube (which was incedibly hard to find btw, not one single store had acrylic tubes) with a diameter of 5 cm (outer). You may need to scale the STLs or change the ring cut-out.

I have bought this tube (50×300 mm): https://www.ebay.de/itm/Transparent-Acrylglas-Rohr-Rohre-Lucite-20mm-50mm-65mm-300mm/263249093817

EDIT:
the screws are real ones, M3x4mm
STLs are meant to be printed, the 3mf is there if you need the chip outer boundaries box for a cutout or sth.

As always, if you make one, I would really like to see it – so please take a minute to post a make. Thanks! 🙂

Playseat Challenge Nobsound G2 Amp Frame Mount

I’ve used the Nobsound G2 100 Watt Mono Amplifier to drive 2 bodyshakers using the pre-out subwoofer channel my receiver provides, so I’ve made a mount for it as well.

Note: The whole frame was made from dimensions found in the Amazon listing, so it’s close but not exactly fitting. I have added rubber mat/pads between the mount and the amp, which was planned to do anyway. The whole chair vibrates (duh!) so you want the amp not rattling around obviously.

Just a simple fruit fly trap I have fiddled together in Fusion 360 to learn more about the functions it has … quite a ride but easily adjustable now.

The provided STL is for cups, glasses, bowls, … any contaiment with an opening diameter of 77 mm or less. Should fit any standard glass or mustard glass, marmelade glass and so on hence the funnel design.

Prints fast due to walls-only!
Put something in there to attract the flies!

Those seem to work well:

  • some left over red wine
  • apple cider vinegar
  • beer with some sugar (tablespoon)
  • baking soda and vinegar (to create some CO², which seems to attract them as well?!)

Let me hear about your recipe 😉

Complete Hotend Cover including half-circle print cooling and a mount for a LED strip.
Fits the original Anycubic „BOOSFAN JD4512M12“ and any 40 x 10 mm fan for extruder cooling, in my case the Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX.

Yes, it is a little bit expensive, but quiet and has a MTBF of 150.000+ hours, max. 17.9 dB(A).

Btw: I have printed it with PLA, but added enough structure to prevent bending of the fan duct. Without them the right lower fan duct part began to drop down, but with the reinforcements it works well. Hopefully lasts.

I have done several changes to the original to make it fit better on the Mega-S and reduce the needed support:

  1. I have moved the rear blower about 5mm away from the nozzle (was not centered), so hopefully PLA will be fine again, as I am having difficulties printing a ring-style one in ABS.
  2. added more robust screw holes
  3. modified some walls so my original Mega-S part cooling fan fits
  4. reduced the amount of support needed by adding slopes
